EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION:

Green Tea:  Compounds in green tea can improve brain function and make you smarter. Orange:  The fiber, potassium, vitamin C and choline content in oranges all support heart health. Contains a high content of antioxidants and polyphenols, known for neutralizing the potentially harmful effects of free radicals.

Orange:  The antioxidant vitamin C, when eaten in its natural form (as in an orange) or applied topically, can help to fight skin damage caused by the sun and pollution, reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin texture. Vitamin C from citrus peels plays a vital role in the formation of collagen, the support system of your skin.

Apple: Apples contain pectin, a type of fiber that acts as a prebiotic. This means it feeds the good bacteria in your gut.

Pear:  Fighting free radicals, pears contain high levels of antioxidants, including vitamin C and K, and copper. These chemicals mop up free radicals, protecting our cells from the damage they can cause.

Mango:  Mango is low in calories yet high in nutrients — particularly vitamin C, which aids immunity, iron absorption and growth and repair. Rose hips:  Preliminary research indicates that rose hip may help prevent type 2 diabetes, particularly in people with risk factors such as obesity and high blood pressure. Hibiscus:  Interestingly, studies have shown that hibiscus may promote liver health and help keep it working efficiently.

Calendula:  There are also some anti-spasmodic properties of calendula that are also taken advantage of by many people. If you suffer from a nervous system disorder, have painful cramping in relation to menstruation or some other type of spasmodic condition, adding calendula to your diet may be beneficial.

Excellent Flavor
Complex Yet Light and Flavorful Tea

This is one of my very favorite teas. I love the blend of flavors. I do not like fruity tasting tea. The fresh green taste comes through and the fruits are well balanced without giving the tea an odd or bitter fruity taste. It is subtle. Tea should be brewed for 3 minutes. When I first received this, I brewed too long and it was bitter. Honestly, I purchased it to give my spleen a boost and it turned out to be my favorite! I am a connisuer of tea. I studied Japanese and for many years drank Japan's finest organic sencha and matcha. But since Fukishima, I stopped with the Japanese teas. Light of Day is my favorite tea company. The white and green teas are really good too.

We drink this when we go to Achaatz Pie Company. It is my favorite tea - a bit fruity, a bit bitter - but it all works well together. It leaves you saying, "what am I tasting - is it fruit or herb". I purchased tin - it inspired me to start using loose tea again.

One of our household favorites. We buy it by the pound and keep a couple of sealed tins in our medicine cabinet.

I purchased this on the recommendation of my acupuncturist. The nodes that connected to my liver were inflamed. After drinking this tea, my digestive system leveled off and my liver has settled down. It also helped me overcome an upper respiratory infection this Winter (I have needed antibiotics to get over this infection in past Winters). I'll take the big bag this time.
