Namaste from Nepal (Green Tea/ no caffeine)

Size

Ingredients: Organic Green Tea

Notes:DELICIOUS! Sweet and tippy. Grown at high elevation by Nepalese monks. What we love about this tea is the consistency in inconsistency in the way this tea is sorted...some green, some slightly oxidized leaves..it's just multi-faceted and a fantastic rounded-out experience! Naturally caffeinated. Great pic me up!

This is my favorite green...

This is my favorite green tea on the planet. Very smooth and full bodied, with none of the bitterness or astringency of many green teas. To me it's almost like a grassier version of a black tea. I actually drank this every day when I was pregnant and missed black tea but wanted to cut back on the caffeine. (Most green tea has about half the caffeine of black.) I finally gave in recently and bought one of the 16 oz bags of this because I got tired of buying more when I ran out :-)

My wife brought this home...

My wife brought this home for me after a "knitting weekend" with her friends. They had stopped at "Light of Day" and sampled several teas. I've been brewing it for several weeks now and it's become the only tea I reach for in the tea cupboard....It's delicious any time of day and night. It's not a 'flowery or seasoned tea' It has the essential pure tea flavors ' slightly roasted / sweet green tea essence'. It has a mild tannic finish but not too much. Just right for me. I'm drinking twice the tea and half the wine since he brought it home. ya think she knew?
