Matcha, is a product that we can and do contribute a limited amount of our "Tencha"tea leaves here at Light of Day Organics (because " Tea"- Camellia sinensis is one of the botanicals that we grow).  However, producing a product of this quality requires a  qualified pharmaceutical lab with the specialty equipment and airtight chambers necessary to mechanically de-vein then  grind the Tencha leaf into a fine powder within the laboratory setting required to grind without color fading if oxidation occurs.  Therefore, we rely on other organic farmers and production vendors around the globe to supplement what we grow and to process to completion this remarkable product for us. Because of concerns in the news re. radiation and heavy metal contamination, each batch of Matcha and the soils they are grown in are tested thoroughly to ensure that we are all enjoying the highest quality, safest matcha available to us today!  We hope that you enjoy this product as much as we do!
