We have found some wonderful new team members and are now able to expand our farm access!  We're so excited to welcome you back to the farm!
Our first day of this "experiment" (as we're calling it, with a grin) is tomorrow, Friday June 24th.  Please come support this beautiful farm and business with your visit.

Our updated farm access includes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11am-7pm and admission is $10. Visit our outdoor “Pop-up Tea Shop” stand, take a wandering expanded self-tour of the farm, and see up close our  hoop houses where the Tea plants live year round!
Even if you've been to the farm before, this will be something brand new for you. For the first time ever, we are allowing customers access right up to the sidewalls of two of our three very large hoop houses,  so that you can observe our tea plants (Camellia sinensis) and tea seedlings of varying vintages and varietals. Isn't it wonderful that we can grow actual Tea right here in Traverse City? Bring your visiting friends and family to share our Nation's pride in this miracle of agriculture. Light of Day Organics is North America's only BOTH Certified USDA Organic and Demeter Certified Biodynamic® Tea Farm.

 Our tea stand staff (James and Avalon) will offer from their table a selection of our best-selling tea tins, Matcha and Turmeric/ Matcha capsules, and an assortment of tea accessories for purchase.
